Are you self-employed, entering semi-retirement, or looking to supplement a career in another field (such as academia)? We are always looking to collaborate and add complimentary skill sets to our offerings. Some of the Mavens have previously been independent consultants too and we understand the needed flexibility in such arrangements. We prefer to pay by deliverable rather than number of hours.
We want to learn to more effectively and efficiently work with you. Therefore, we request that all major contracts of this type are associated with an additional paid deliverable of engaging in training or mentorship of Maven staff. This can take many forms, such as writing a journal article, providing a lunch and learn, or helping specific members develop a new skill set.
